“A KONG a day keeps behavior problems away.” Paula Nowak, CPDT-KA, CTDI, CNWI
A traditional KONG can be a great resource for dogs of all ages. It allows the dog to have mental stimulation, use their mouth appropriately, and can relieve stress. We recommend using a stuffed KONG daily. You can use as part of meal time or as a snack.
We have recipes along with informational videos here on this page all about KONG use. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Tips:
Use a coffee mug to hold the KONG while filling and for the freezing process for less mess.
If your dog is KONG savvy freezing it 2 or more hours adds an additional challenge and is good for sore puppy gums.
Tapping the KONG when it’s half full and completely full helps alleviate air bubbles
