What certifications do CCA’s dog trainers and behavior consultants have?
Paula Nowak, the owner and head trainer, is certified through the Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CCPDT) organization. It is the only nationally certified test/organization. She also is a Certified Nose Work Instructor, AKC Assessor, and Trick Dog certified instructor.
Ali Weihl is an AKC Assessor and CARAT Assessor.
Everyone on the team participates yearly in continuing education in-person and online for behavior, nose work, and additional tools.
If I have two dogs, do I pay extra for the additional dog in a private lesson?
No, we split the time between both dogs for the time alotted.
Can I split a day school package between multiple dogs?
No, our packages are designed to be dedicated to each individual dog to get the maximum value of training time.
How long has CCA been in existance?
Canine Country Academy started in 2009. Cathy Bruce was the founder and Paula Nowak (her mentee) purchased the business in October of 2017.
Do you guarantee your dog training results?
No, it is unrealistic to guarantee animal behavior (dog and human). We offer high quality services along with support to help improve your dog’s behavior. Each dog is an individual and yields individual results.
What is the refund policy?
There are NO refunds once a class or service has been started. If you request a refund 48-hours prior to the start of a group class or private lesson or other services we will refund you minus the PayPal or processing fee of 3.5%.
If Canine Country Academy cancels or postpones the class or service you can choose a credit or full refund.
